What's the Importance of L, S, R, and W in IELTS?

In the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam, L, S, R, and W stand for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, respectively. These four components assess the different language skills of candidates:

  1. Listening (L): This section evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand spoken English. It usually consists of four recorded monologues and conversations. Candidates have to answer questions based on what they hear.
